Rob is an actor signed to Nyland Management. You might recognise him from Coronation Street, Cold Feet and Heartbeat on TV and I was lucky enough to work with him on Saturday taking his headshot portraits to update his portfolios. Here are a couple of samples.
For those that care... I have jumped from using squarespace v5 over to v6.
For those that don't care about the geeky details I've got a new look site which appears awesome at the moment and hope you all like it.
OK so it's not much of a community at the moment. But I've looked pretty hard over the last 12 months to find a photography group in the Warrington and Manchester areas that has regular practical meet-ups. So I've started a new hunt. I'm now searching for photographer's that want to help build the new Manchester Photography Community. I'm hoping to help build a community of photographers of all abilities that are excited about learning, sharing and teaching photography. There is currently no focus or particular aims of the new group apart from to take photographs, have fun, learn and socialise.

Here are ten songs that must be played by your wedding DJ... Yes Katy, Chesney is featured here, and yes maybe I had a dance in my room.

After a two night stay in the Sutton Scotney Service Station Travel Lodge, Which was a pretty nice place to be honest, we thought we needed a little bit nature so headed over to Wales for the weekend. First two nights were spent in Neath in South Wales just above Swansea. This place was amazing, Lone Wolf Campsite, made me want to do the "lone wold" speech from 'The Hangover', bit if you want a site that's not quite wild camping but more so than normal camping then this place is worth a visit with a couple of small pitches in woodland by the river this is possibly the best campsite I've stayed at. We visited the nearby waterfalls where we had a natural power shower and did a bit of jumping and wild swimming, it was cold, but definitely good for the soul. Then it was two days just outside of St. Davids in Pembrokeshire in Celtic Camping, a nice little farm campsite close to the edge of the cliff with brilliant coatline. As a suprise Katy treated me to a great day of adventure on the sea with TYF, sea kyaking, fishing and coasteering. This was a great day and if you're in the area go with these our guide Martin was great and was like a young Attinbourgh of sea creatures.
Armed with a little cheap underwater (waterproof) 35mm camera from Decathlon...
I attended a friends wedding last month and she asked if I could take a few photograph's of the Groom, Paul, and his groomsmen before the wedding kicked off. The official photographer for the day was Kelly from Lola Rose Photography, who did a beautiful job of the photo's. Here are a few which I took of the lads at Norton Park Hotel. The wedding took place at The Clock Barn in Tufton Warren, Whitchurch.
I attended another Cellar Door night at Antwerp Mansion, just behind the Curry Mile in Rusholme, Manchester. This place, although the lighting isn't great for the photography, is an awesome underground venue for arts and music. Covered and graffiti and looking like a studio scene from skins, the couches make this a nice comfortable, intimate venue with the feel of a squat. If there is anything that's going on that takes your fancy then definitely check it out, and even if nothing grabs you, still go and check out the venue.
Johnny Sly, Aeve Ribbons & Jack Davies
Check these guys out. I'd love to see them again.
Thank you to all the bands that played and entertained me whilst I was taking your photo's. I can't wait to see you again. Music is a social soul in life and should be encouraged and supported in all forms, levels and venues. If you are a band, musician or artist and would like some promotional photographs taking for facebook, soundcloud profiles, CD covers or just for mum then give me a shout and we'll have a good chat about music and get you some music photo's sorted for your needs.
I was lucky enough to take the photographs of Helena and Sam's wedding day in Leicestershire. They were married in a lovely little country church and then the reception in the best Marquee I've seen.
See Holly's recipes at here site recipes from a normal mum.

Bernie and Mike were married on Easter Sunday of 2012 at the Lymm Hotel in Cheshire. Although the weather was a bit on the dodgy side the wedding was an amazingly beautiful day full of happy faces.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hubble. And thanks for a great day.
Today I went over to Walton Gardens to meet the Thompson family who wanted some portrait photographs taken as a present for their parents anniversary. It was a great time and the weather managed to hold out for us. Here are a couple of the photo's.
Fresh back from our roadtrip I'm sooooo chilled out. We started in my little black Fiesta leaving work in Manchester straight down for a good kip in the Premier Inn before an early ferry over to Calais and then a straight drive down through Paris to Bordeaux. It was an epic drive and we stopped off just outside of Bordeaux at a campsite, setting up in the dark with nothing open, out of season and freezing was not the best start :) Bordeaux was amazing, a very pretty city with a lot going on. We met a friend Mark for St. Patricks night celebrations and then made our way over to the coast and down through to Zarautz between St. Sabastian and Bilboa on the north coast of Spain. If you get a chance you should definately visit the little coastal town of Zarautz. A little surfers haven with a few beachside bars which will see you through the day and night. We stayed in a campsite, Grand Camping on top of the cliff overlooking the sea.
From Zarautz we had an amazing drive down to Madrid for the weekend to meet my friend James. Madrid is most definately the best city I have visited. The whole city is pretty much open 24hrs with people still heading out for the night a 4am. We took a free walking tour.
Heading home we stopped off at Burgos for a night and then Bilboa for a day. Bilboa looks like a cool place to visit for a night too, unfortunately we only got to see the outside of the Guggenheim gallery, if you want to go in the Guggenheim DON'T GO ON A MONDAY, it's closed. We spent our last few days on the continent in ile d'Oleron a little island of the west coast of France. A quick night stop in Calais and the overnight in Salisbury for a wedding and it was then back home to Manchester.
And now a couple of Lomokino movies...
Katy's Niece Maisy was 2 today and to celebrate we had a trip around Chester Zoo. Here a couple of the photographs from the day in Chester. Plus some lomokino films after the jump...
...and here are the Lomokino films we did. Katy bought me a Lomokino in February but these are the first films that have turned out. Lomo is amazing and I love my Lomokino, but my god... analogue is an expensive hobby!
Just a quick photo from the hectic Chinese New Year celebrations in Manchester China Town.
